Network infrastructure services provider Black Box has announced that its CEO Fred Young has stepped down. The US firm did not provide details on Young’s next move or the reasons for his departure. Terry Blakemore will act as interim CEO during the search for a permanent replacement, the company said. “It has been an honour to be the CEO of Black Box for the past nine years,” Young, who also served as a member of the board of directors, said. “With tremendous dedication and effort, we achieved US$1 billion in revenues during fiscal year 2007. The team is now well positioned to leverage this new starting point to even greater heights,” he added.
