GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK will provide the region’s consumer electronics players with a single distinct meeting platform this September as it features Consumer ELECTRONICS, the traditionally captivating part of the event. Set to showcase such industry big hitters as LG, Panasonic, Samsung, Sanyo, Sony, i-mate and many more, the event will pull together GITEX’s consumer technology vendors and associated retail channel to span the Sheikh Maktoum and Sheikh Rashid halls at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre. “In regions such as the Middle East, packed full of ‘early adopters’ and technology spenders, there is a huge and fast-growing demand for consumer electronics, and because of this the number of players this space continues to increase each year,” explained Helal Saeed Al Marri, the director general of Dubai World Trade Centre. “By bringing together these companies and technologies into one easy to navigate exhibition space, we’re making the lives of CE delegates that much easier, making sure their time here in Dubai is spent meeting clients and negotiating deals rather than walking across several huge GITEX halls,” Mr Al Marri continued. Look out for special events and activities set to enthrall your senses in the Consumer ELECTRONICS section!
