IT bosses set to flock to GITEX Business Solutions

Billed as the region’s largest IT procurement platform, the ‘GITEX Business Solutions’ element of this year’s rebranded GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK is set to draw in thousands of CIOs, technology managers and IT procurement professionals from across the Middle East. This September halls one to eight of Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre will be divided into three themed business areas. Designed to best meet the needs of the region’s IT professionals, GITEX Business Solutions’ halls will cover the distinct fields of Network & Security, Office Technology & Supplies, and IT Solutions. “With the creation of GITEX Business Solutions we are really fine tuning GITEX to best fit its business IT remit,” said Helal Saeed Al Marri, the director general of Dubai World Trade Centre. “As the region’s IT sector continues to expand incrementally, it’s crucial that enterprise SMBs and government level GITEX delegates are catered for and find visiting the show, meeting partners and doing business convenient. By pulling together all GITEX’s business IT exhibitors into this Business Solutions space, we will ensure this,” Saeed Al Marri added. GITEX Business Solutions will feature key industry players such as Acer, Verger et Delporte, Brother, CA, D-Link, Epson, HP, Oracle, SAP, Secureway, Sybase and hundreds more. In addition to show stands, this year’s event will also host a valuable range of conferences that delegates can attend to discuss and analyse the latest industry trends and opportunities. As GITEX Business Solutions is as much a business gathering as a technology exhibition, numerous networking events will also be held to help ensure that each and every delegate has every opportunity to establish and maintain essential industry contacts.
