Panduit executive team to meet channel partners

Top brass from networking and electrical solutions vendor Panduit are preparing to visit the Middle East. Senior executives from the company intend to meet with key customers and partners during the trip to Qatar and the UAE next month.

Top brass from networking and electrical solutions vendor Panduit are preparing to visit the Middle East. Senior executives from the company intend to meet with key customers and partners during the trip to Qatar and the UAE next month. Panduit EMEA boss Alan Farrimond, and VP global sales and marketing Ron Partridge, will be heading to the region alongside company president Tom Donovan. The trip represents Donovan’s first foray to the Middle East. “Panduit is one of the many companies enjoying success in the UAE and we are investing in line with this success,” commented Farrimond. “We are looking forward to the opportunity to visit our key customers in the region and celebrate the opening of our new customer briefing centre (CBC) and office in Dubai.” According to Panduit’s marketing manager for the Middle East and Pakistan, Mariana Missakian, the briefing centre serves two primary purposes. She explained: “It enables Panduit to showcase the very latest product solutions developed by the technicians at the company’s lab in Chicago, emphasising the ongoing commitment to research and development.” “Secondly, we are looking to assist all levels of network infrastructure professionals by passing on industry knowledge,” said Missakian, adding that the CBC is used to host various events from consultant forums to installer PCI training. Panduit — a technology partner of Cisco — has had an office in Dubai Internet City since 2005, which it uses to serve the Gulf, parts of the Levant, Egypt and Pakistan. The company has recently moved to appoint new accounts managers for the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain and Saudi as it increases its investment in the region. Panduit’s regional office is currently staffed by eight people, but it expects to take headcount up to 13 by the end of the year as it attempts to strengthen its position in the channel. Missakian added: “We aim to support our partners through sales and technical assistance so that they can grow their business and therefore help us to grow our business. We are pushing our core values of innovation, quality and service into the region to ensure that customers can gain maximum benefits and their return on investment when utilising Panduit product sets.”
