Al Rammah International's technology division is marking its second appearance at GITEX Saudi Arabia this week and is showcasing a wide portfolio of connectivity products and solutions from Taiwanese networking firm Planet and US-based vendor giant Netgear. Saudi Arabian-based Al Rammah, which boasts offices in Riyadh, Jeddah and Buraidah, hopes its appearance at GITEX Saudi Arabia 2007 increases awareness for its products. “Apart from increasing product awareness, GITEX is an excellent platform to meet our current customers and gather new ones,” said Hussain Ali, a spokesperson for the firm. Ali continued: “We are committed to keeping up to speed with the latest technology in the IT world and want to join other major IT players in the Arab region to showcase our expertise in networking, software, hardware and communications.” At this year’s GITEX, Al Rammah is touting wired and wireless Planet and Netgear products including wireless routers, WiFi cards, gateways, hubs and LAN switches. The company will also be unveiling a number of network-based and software-related consultancy services, which the company hopes will appeal to customers within Saudi Arabia. These include SAP implementation consultation, IP surveillance, core network design and enterprise LAN solutions. Al Rammah bills itself as a provider of complete network solutions, combining hardware, software, cabling as well as installation. On the training front, Al Rammah offers limited free training with its products and services. The firm’s client base includes prestigious names such as Saudi Aramco, Eagle Global Logistics and the Rawabi Group, highlighting the quality of the solutions and services that the company offers. Al Rammah is hopeful that its services and solutions will strike a chord with the tens of thousands of visitors cramming into the halls of the Riyadh Exhibition Centre this week. With a healthy climate for ICT infrastructure investment within KSA, Al Rammah International’s technology team believes that it will identify many future business opportunities and leads during the course of the show.
