Intersoft, a Riyadh-based software outfit, has been looking forward to GITEX Saudi Arabia 2007 as a valuable opportunity to strengthen its presence in the region. With a strong background and a wealth of experience in the Middle East finance sector - past clients include Riyad Bank, Saudi American Bank, The National Commercial Bank and the Commercial Bank of Qatar - the company has established a solid position in the GCC region. With customers in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain and Kuwait, Intersoft is keen to promote its services to potential new customers on both a regional and international scale. “We provide the latest solutions and the best customer services in the field of e-banking and retail point of sale systems at a reasonable price,” said Ammar Al Qadi, general manager at Intersoft. “With our head office in Riyadh and branches in Jeddah, Al-Khobar and Dubai in the UAE, Intersoft is providing crucial immediate and after-sales support for all our valued customers in the region,” he added. Working with a number of international partners including Axalto, ABS Software and Opticon, Intersoft’s position in the Middle East markets enables the company to promote and develop its partner services and enhances its reputation as a trusted provider in the e-banking market. With a workforce of over 120 people, Intersoft claims it was first to introduce state of the art e-banking systems and that it was the first company in the Kingdom to introduce smart cards using SIM (subscriber identity module) in POS terminals.
