Amricon ventures into Egypt and Jordan

Smart solutions provider Amricon is entering into two new markets in the Middle East with its recent distributor appointments. Phoenix Computers and Open Source Solutions are set to deliver the vendor’s solutions to Egypt and Jordan respectively.

Smart solutions provider Amricon is entering into two new markets in the Middle East with its recent distributor appointments. Phoenix Computers and Open Source Solutions are set to deliver the vendor’s solutions to Egypt and Jordan respectively. “The Egyptian and Jordanian markets are among those Amricon has identified for strategic expansion, as they present high potential for the company’s solutions,” said Mohammad Jarrar, managing director at Amricon. “Our tie-up with established companies such as Phoenix Computers and Open Source Solutions provides us with a unique opportunity to meet the rising market demand in those two countries for solutions that address security and business processes such as ours,” he added. Phoenix Computers, a subsidiary of Saudisoft, has established alliances with leading providers such as Epson, Acer, Fujitsu and Tally Genicom in Egypt. Open Source Solutions is a provider of IT solutions consulting, software and security in Jordan. “The cutting-edge solutions provided by Amricon have enjoyed high market demand worldwide. Through strategic expansion with well-chosen partners such as Open Source Solutions and Phoenix Computers, Amricon is looking forward to further consolidating its position particularly in Egypt and Jordan,” concluded Jarrar. Amricon has also recently collaborated with Phoenix Computers to promote its anti-counterfeit and bounced cheques solution called ‘SMART Cheque’ in the region, at a recent banking conference, and the Dubai-based company revealed it is targeting North America next.
