Industrial and retail solution provider Zultec Technical Services plans to push its new ‘Zultrack’ fleet management system at GITEX Saudi Arabia. When a company deploys the system it will allow the firm to track vehicles remotely with the aim of making fleet management a simpler and straightforward process. Zultrack is a combination of hardware tracking devices and Zultec’s own in-house designed software to keep an eye on each tracker. “Zultrack is a great solution for cargo firms and car rental agencies as they needn’t worry about manually tracking down each vehicle in their fleet. Our software will show exactly where each vehicle is so you won’t have to waste time calling the driver to see where he is,” said Zulquirnain Ali Khan, general manager, Zultec Technical Services. “While the system will likely be adopted mostly by companies with huge vehicle fleets, it can also be used elsewhere. You could for instance fit trackers to the ears of livestock and you could then track the cattle without any trouble.” The system has already been officially launched in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and the company plans to promote it heavily at the show with the aim of gaining customer orders. Zultec also plans to launch the solution in the cities of Riyadh and Dammam in the near future. Zultec, which was established in 1984, will also use its presence at the show to display its labelling systems, barcode printers, hand punch systems and timer solutions. Zultrack is the distributor for Datalogic bar code printers in both Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. The solutions provider has a permanent base in the UAE along with a service centre. The latter is used to service retail clients such as GEANT and Carrefour. The firm is a strong believer in the trade show and hopes that its presence will ultimately contribute to its final goal of greater market share. “We distribute products from world renowned brands and we definitely want to grab a bigger slice of the market. With local and international visitors attending the show, GITEX helps us reach a large number of people, whom we hope will turn into business partners,” concludes Khan.
