Adobe Systems has announced the third full version of its Creative Suite software collection, which it will promote across this region next month via a Middle East consumer and channel roadshow. The firm’s new software line-up incorporates what it claims is the very best Adobe and Macromedia products, to provide a range of options for print, web, mobile, interactive, film, and video production. Adobe is offering six all-new configurations of Adobe Creative Suite 3 in total. These include: Design Premium and Design Standard editions; Web Premium and Web Standard editions; with Production Premium and Adobe Creative Suite 3 Master Collection rounding off the new selection (the latter combining all of Adobe's applications in a single box). “Adobe Creative Suite 3 is the biggest launch in Adobe’s 25 year history and a milestone for the creative industry,” said Bruce Chizen, the firm’s chief executive officer. “This release reflects the powerful integration between Adobe and Macromedia and how our products bridge the gap between designers and developers. As part of a regional push to promote Creative Suite 3, Adobe will head out on a five-city Middle East roadshow during April, with the aim of educating channel partners and end users about its new collections. “We have already begun training our local channel partners and expect most of the products to be available regionally by end of April,” explained Jacob Alex, the channel manager of Adobe Middle East. “Needless to say, for our Middle Eastern customers we are currently working on Arabic-enabled Adobe Creative Suite 3 products,” Alex added. With Adobe Creative Suite 3, developing technologies for mobile handsets and the delivery of video rich content take centre stage, while in addition shared features include an updated version of Adobe Bridge CS3, the hub of Adobe Creative Suite, providing instant access to Version Cue CS3, Acrobat Connect and an expanded Adobe Stock Photos service.
