US-based electronic payment solutions provider E-Monee has opened an international headquarters in Dubai. The new office will serve the Middle East and Far East markets as the company looks to accelerate its global expansion. According to E-Monee, the new office will serve as a hub for business development and operations in the Middle East. Focused on the global expansion of E-Monee payment solutions, the Dubai office will specialise in online payment solutions, IT and telecommunications services. Hailing from Florida, USA, E-Monee has a core product, which it claims ‘integrates technology and global telecommunications with banking’. E-Monee’s Global Electronic Treasury System (GETS) facilitates instantaneous and affordable collections, movement, disbursement and deposit of funds, according to the company. E-Monee’s website declares: “As a newcomer to a dynamic electronic payments arena, E-Monee is embarking into the brightest stage of development, penetrating untapped nich markets which are in need of replacing cash and checks.” “We will maximize our first mover positions and establish E-Monee as the industry-wide leading payment system,” the website continues. “E-Monee is also in the mist [sic] of launching services to new markets looking to increase fund transactional efficiencies and scope.”
