Jordan-based software house Eskadenia has whipped the covers off its new Telecom E-Voucher (TE) system at the 3GSM World Congress in Barcelona, Spain. The TE-Voucher system allows telecoms operators to widen their reseller network by offering easy and convenient credit top-ups for prepaid customers using electronic vouchers as opposed to scratch cards or other legacy approaches. “TE-Voucher forms a key part of Eskadenia’s offerings to telecom operators, thus complementing our comprehensive line-up of billing, interconnect, mediation, and prepaid software products already running at major client sites in Europe, the Middle East and Africa,“ explained Nael Salah, managing director at Eskadenia Software Solutions. The TE-Voucher system supports multiple sales methods, including both online and offline recharging. The offline method enables a reseller to use the mobile handset or a web interface to directly request a new voucher PIN. Using the online method, the reseller can request direct credit top-up for a prepaid mobile number. Eskadenia’s TE-Voucher connects to the operator’s prepaid system and updates the customer balance. This system negates the need for legacy voucher systems or the use of recharging media such as SMS, IVR or USSD. The system also manages reseller credit deposits and dynamically calculates and records in the database all reseller commissions as per predefined percentages, according to Eskadenia. Developed using Java technologies, the TE-Voucher system is capable of multi-operators support and boasts a web-enabled OAM tool plus advanced reporting and statistics. Eskadenia claims that TE-Voucher offers flexible integration with back-end servers and high security levels. The system can also be configured to send SMS notifications to resellers and customers. Eskadenia is showcasing its latest solution at the 3GSM World Congress currently taking place in Barcelona, Spain. Salah added: “We have put in good efforts in the past few years at telecom and mobile-focused regional and international events. We believe we have excellent software offerings for the telecom market and a proven-track record of telecom projects in the Middle East, Europe and Africa.“ “Exhibiting at the 3GSM World Congress further strengthens our position as a software vendor and give us the chance to network with the global mobile telecom community,” Salah concluded.
