Dicota inks partnership in Iran

Computer accessory vendor Dicota has signed a distribution partnership to strengthen its presence in Iran. AlShaya Solutions will carry the entire range of Dicota’s products in the fast-growing Iranian market.

Computer accessory vendor Dicota has signed a distribution partnership to strengthen its presence in Iran. AlShaya Solutions will carry the entire range of Dicota’s products in the fast-growing Iranian market. Jamal Maraqa, managing director at Dicota Middle East, said: “As AlShaya Solutions is the leading player in the Iranian IT market, this partnership leverages the strengths of the company in the local IT market. As our strength lies in the unique combination of functional series manufacturing and customer-specific projects, we look forward to bringing our years of experience to the Iranian market.” Babak Loghmani, CEO at AlShaya, added: “As our main philosophy is to develop a lasting relationship with channel partners, with an emphasis on customer share rather than on market share, we are delighted to have an alliance with Dicota which will help us enlarge our product portfolio according to customer needs. Being the distributors for leading names in this field, we are keen to introduce our other futuristically-designed superior quality products to this high growth market.” German vendor Dicota is headquartered in Stuttgart and claims to have over 80 partner distributors worldwide, including Pro Technology in the Middle East. The company develops and manufactures bags, case solutions and accessories for the mobile computing industry. AlShaya Solutions focuses on networking, VoIP and notebook accessories and provides products from vendors including Swissbit and MGE.
