Networking vendor D-Link has announced the launch of its quarterly channel partner accreditation programme. D-Link’s preferred partners will receive an award as a sign of its acknowledgement and appreciation for its partners’ efforts, according to the vendor. D-Link harbours hopes that this award will inspire brand commitment amongst resellers selling its products in networking markets. The Taiwanese vendor stated that the award will be granted to the partner who has been best fulfilling selective performance criteria at the beginning of each quarter. D-Link also announced that the next awards ceremony will be held in the first week of April 2007. D-Link partners can expect a personal visit from the vendor’s sales team. The accreditation will be awarded through a number of categories including sales volume, product availability and variety in the showroom, participation in technical training, D-Link events and display of D-Link products on the shelves. Those who have been helping the vendor run live demos and other events requiring showroom facilities will also be rewarded, added the vendor. The networking vendor enhanced its presence in the Middle East last year by signing with regional distributor Almasa and wowed Gitex visitors with its new range of networking products late last year.
