Global investments solutions provider Advent Software has inked a new partnership with Saudi system integrator SISCOM in an effort to extend its reach in the Kingdom. Advent is also eyeing expansion in the rest of the region following the recent launch of an office in Dubai. “This new partnership with SISCOM builds on the recent opening of our Dubai office and confirms Advent’s long-term commitment to the region as we work with local firms,” said Håkan Valberg, general manager EMEA at Advent. According to the vendor, its Dubai office will be utilised by local support and sales staff serving the region. Valberg claims that Advent’s market share in the region has been growing over the last two years, and that it perceives the rapidly growing market in Saudi Arabia as a good opportunity. “SISCOM complements our ability to enable firms to better address complex business challenges of improving efficiency, competitive advantage and profitability,” he added. Advent Software claims to have established a client base in the Middle East consisting of over 20 private banks, wealth managers and family offices for its investment management solutions. SISCOM also says that it has strong ties with many leading financial organisations in the Middle East, and believes this new partnership with the vendor will help both firms penetrate the financial sector. Bishr Al-Madani, marketing director at SISCOM, said: “We are impressed by Advent solutions and we are delighted to have the opportunity to work with them in developing a strong partnership not only in Saudi Arabia but throughout the Middle East. Advent’s solutions offer a strong value proposition by helping firms streamline their investment operations, making them an ideal partner for SISCOM,” he concluded.
