PRO TECHnology has recently added the Electronic News Production System (ENPS) from the Associated Press and Maximuim Throughput’s storage and media management solutions to its portfolio of broadcast and production solutions. “ENPS is the most popular broadcast news production system in the world, being used by journalists in more than 650 radio and television newsrooms in 42 countries,” says Emad Shawqi, general manager, PRO TECHnology. “With Dubai and other cities in the Middle East witnessing a proliferation of TV and radio stations, we believe this is the right time to introduce this application to the region. ENPS is capable not only of streamlining production tasks and meeting the demands of 24/7 TV and radio stations, which are constantly running against the clock, it could actually serve as the much-needed tool that allows the regional broadcast media to achieve world-class news production standards.” ENPS incorporates significant features that allow radio and TV stations to simplify operational procedures and gain greater control over various production aspects. “PRO TECHnology has always taken the lead in bringing innovative technologies and solutions to the Middle East, and we underscore our commitment to the regional market with the launch of ENPS. As we look to further build our growing customer base, our efforts will continue to be focused on providing our customers with technology solutions that positively transform their businesses,” Shawqi adds. Through its strategic tie-ups with major international brands, PRO TECHnology offers a selection of broadcast and production solutions designed to help the region’s broadcasters manage the transition to new digital formats. As part of this effort, PRO TECHnology also announced a partnership with Maximum Throughput at GITEX 2006. According to the agreement, PRO TECHnology will be Max-T’s key solutions and systems integration partner in the region. “With this partnership, we hope to make a strong entry into the Middle East market,” says tephen Elliot, sales manager EMEA of Max-T. “We are looking forward to working with PRO TECHnology because we have been very impressed with their reputation. Max-T believes there is a natural affinity between our two companies, which we feel will allow us to provide better services to clients in the region.”
