CA steers Middle East partners in right direction

CA has hailed the success of its recent annual partner summit that it held for its Enterprise Solution Providers at the Dubai Autodrome. 36 of CA’s 40 partners from the Middle East, Africa, Pakistan and Turkey seized the opportunity to network with the vendor’s senior management team as well as pit their driving skills against them on the track.

CA has hailed the success of its recent annual partner summit that it held for its Enterprise Solution Providers at the Dubai Autodrome. 36 of CA’s 40 partners from the Middle East, Africa, Pakistan and Turkey seized the opportunity to network with the vendor’s senior management team as well as pit their driving skills against them on the track. The management software vendor’s local channel bosses were also on hand to instruct partners about the new enhancements it recently made to its partner programme, including deal registration, margin builder rebates and channel marketing centre tools. Zikar Bou Ajram, general manager of the special projects division at CA reseller LS2, said: “This has been a great summit and an excellent opportunity to network with CA’s dedicated channel team. We have learnt a lot about the important additions and enhancements to CA’s channel programmes and also set some specific targets and goals for the coming months.” At the summit, the vendor also gave out hard copies of its latest marketing tools and information relating to its ‘ESP Campus’, which provides technical material not previously confined to internal sales staff. Gilbert Lacroix, VP EMEA channels at CA, said: “CA is very proud to have motivated partners throughout the region and the attendance at this year’s summit is testament to the relationships and programmes that we have put into place. The annual summit is a great opportunity to further expand on both and also provides a chance to get everyone together for a bit of fun. It has been a great success and we look forward to ESP Partner Summit 2007.”
