Sage Software Middle East is embarking on a roadshow across the GCC in an effort to reach customers in need of increasing the level of automation in their business practices. Sage hopes to use the three-day roadshow, which it is branding ‘Sage Solution Days’, as a tool to entice companies into adopting its CRM, ERP, and HR management software. Marc Van der Ven, managing director at Sage Software Middle East, said: “Businesses today have an imperative to transform themselves and improve performance. There is a great deal of solutions available in the market, which makes it increasingly difficult for decision makers to make the best choice for their company.” He added: “There is a move towards adopting a sophisticated IT infrastructure, but this is being slightly impeded by confused messages from vendors and solution providers, and the pressure to make a quick decision. Sage has the knowledge, experience and portfolio of products that makes it the sole provider focused 100% on CRM, ERP and HR management systems. This is a huge benefit to our customers and partners in the region.” Sage claims 51% of ERP users that it spoke to said the vendor’s solutions would improve communication and progress within the company and 49% said they would involve the best people in the organisation. “This is an indication that GCC organisations have matured and understand what it takes for an ERP project to succeed. Business managers in the region know that software solutions change the way businesses function. They know it touches most people in an organisation and that is an extremely effective way to communicate to all staff what the company is trying to do,” added Van der Van. Sage’s first GCC roadshow since the acquisition of Accpac earlier this year kicks off in Riyadh on December 10th, then moves on to Bahrain on the 12th and concludes in Kuwait a week later. Each one-day agenda will focus on the best practice implementation of HR management solutions and the use of ERP to cut costs and improve efficiency. The event will also show companies how to increase sales and boost customer service through a good CRM solution.
