UAE-based Panasonic distributor Al-Futtaim Panatech has unveiled its new Panasonic flagship store in Dubai’s Burjuman Centre. The renovated showroom, which boasts 1,500 sq feet of floorspace, is designed to enable customers to sample the full range of Panasonic consumer electronics products first-hand. It features an advanced point-of-sale system and fully trained staff. It will also be one of the first retail outlets to stock Panasonic’s 103-inch plasma TV, which is the world’s largest, when it is released in the UAE in February. “The redesigned Al-Futtaim Panatech store in BurJuman offers the very best in retail shopping and helps us strengthen our position in the market,” said Vishesh Bhatia, group director – Electronics and Engineering for the Al-Futtaim Group. Other key products being showcased in the store include 42-, 50- and 65-inch Viera plasma TVs, LCD TVs, home theatre systems, the Lumix digital camera range, the new Blu-ray DVD player and Toughbook notebooks.
