Cosmoscape Sdn Bhd, a trade promotions organisation has ensured a strong showing from Malaysian IT companies at this year’s GITEX. Working in collaboration with Multimedia Super Corridor (MSC Malaysia), Cosmoscape rounded up 16 companies for the Malaysian pavilion. Azrin Ariffin, general manager of Cosmoscape Sdn Bhd said that Malaysian companies have decided to attend GITEX partly because the show has a regional coverage with visitors and exhibitors from Middle East, North Africa, America, Asia and Europe. “Gitex is an excellent platform for companies looking for business opportunities in this region,” he said. “Countries in the Middle East offer great opportunities in potential growth and Malaysian companies participating in the event will be able to leverage and tap into regional market across Middle East. This is an excellent platform for Malaysian companies to meet, network and explore with key industry decision makers, potential partners and clients from the region.” A B2B session has been arranged for Malaysian participating exhibitors at the Malaysian pavilion with local and regional contacts. “We hope this will increase opportunities and effectiveness for exhibitors to engage a suitable target audience,” Azrin said.
