OPENNET MEA, the master distributor and certified training centre for Red Hat Linux, has announced key moves in its plans to expand in the region. With two offices in Dubai, as well as offices and training centres in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Tunisia, the company is pushing its training facilities at this year’s GITEX. “We offer training and certification of a very high level, as well as offering customised training for some of Red Hat’s bigger accounts,” says Anis Krichen, financial director, Opennet MEA. With clients including Adnoc and Aramtec, among others, Opennet announced that it will begin training and certification for system architects, expanding its training beyond engineers. “This program will help increase salaries and self improvement, and with customised training, it also means that employees can really benefit from the course,” adds Krichen. The company also announced the appointment of two new team members, who will play a pinnacle role in helping the company grow. Helping to drive this forward is Ramzi Jalajel, who recently joined Opennet MEA as its new business development manager, and Ons Mrabet, the company’s new sales manager, who previously worked with Opennet Software, the Tunisian-based sister company.
