Amongst the companies making their debut at GITEX this year, Tetra Infotech is seizing the opportunity to meet new customers by showcasing its latest range of portable barcode and label solutions. “The Middle East is a very demanding and upcoming market, and as a region, is always looking for new technology and products,” says Abhijit Gadre, sales executive, Tetra Infotech. The company will be promoting their line of labelling solutions, CCTV systems, security tags and new state of the art Point of Sales (POS) systems. “We will also be demonstrating user-friendly retail software,” adds Gadre. As a Middle East distributor for international firms such as Citizen Systems from Europe, and the Taiwanese firm Birch, Gadre is confident that GITEX will play a major role in enhancing business for the company and its global partners. “This is our first time at GITEX and we have high expectations. We feel it is an excellent platform to meet potential customers, and the added bonus is that they will all be under one roof,” he says. The UAE company has offices in Dubai and Sharjah, as well as Singapore and India. It is primarily looking to expand the export side of the business at this year’s GITEX and is excited by the international representation the show now attracts.
