INTERNET SEARCH engine provider, Korea Wisenut, is looking for a partner at GITEX to aid its expansion into the Middle East. The company will be making its first appearance at GITEX this year, since setting up in Korea in 2000 and considers the Middle East one of its three primary markets along with North America and Asia. Korea Wisenut will display its Search Formula-1 product at GITEX to potential partners. “We have plans to launch a number of projects into the Middle East market and attending GITEX will be very beneficial in helping us gain the right channel partners,” says Scott Kang, director of international business at Korea Wisenut. “We are looking for partners in the Middle East region who have a lot of experience in information technology — resellers with a good customer base who can help bring our solution to e-governments and enterprises and have a strong reputation here as well.” Search Formula-1 is an enterprise search solution. It supports various operating systems including Windows, Unix and Linux. It provides a full text search facility to various file formats including PDF, Microsoft Office files and Star Office files. Search Formula-1 incorporates software solution provider BasisTech’s multi-language processor, which has been implemented in global search portals like Google.
