The opening day of GITEX is set to be a memorable one on the stand of Egyptian software services firm ITWorx as it unveils its latest solutions and officially announces a new office in Riyadh. The company, which works with vendors such as IBM, Microsoft, Oracle, BEA Systems and Vignette, is displaying solutions for clients in the government, education, financial services, and telecommunication sectors. ITWorx will be demonstrating the use of portals, business intelligence, SOA and application development outsourcing, as well as focusing on how to apply security, manageability and quality to reduce ownership costs. In a bid to reinforce its presence in the Saudi software reseller market, ITWorx is also launching its new office in Riyadh. “We have been operating as a significant software services firm in Saudi Arabia for more than two years via our offshore services,” explains Osama El Saman, country manager for Saudi Arabia at ITWorx. “With on-the-ground existence, we can provide better services to our customers; not only by listening closer to their requirements, but also by acting on them more rapidly.” Saman adds: “We are delighted to launch our direct presence in the Kingdom and we are enthusiastic about the future prospects of ITWorx in that promising market.”
