HP’s Middle East success story continues apace as the global behemoth leads the way in the region’s ICT sector. Having already smashed the billion dollar annual sales barrier in the Middle East, the 700-strong regional colossus shows no intention of resting on its laurels. HP will use this year’s GITEX to demonstrate its powerful portfolio of services, software and hardware to customers of all sizes. “Our business is healthy and we have been enjoying some significant year-on-year growth in the region,” explains Joseph Hanania, managing director at HP Middle East. “The last half was a record one for us in terms of revenues so things are looking very good.” HP is not only showcasing its massive product portfolio at GITEX, but also taking the time to sit down with both existing and prospective customers to explain the benefits of working with HP. “HP offers customers some fantastic solutions and also the chance to work with some great people. We are talking about people and products that add value to a customer’s business. At HP we care about the customers that we work with,” Hanania adds. “My long-term vision is for HP to keep adding value and to be perceived by customers as the best way for them to guarantee their future success,” continues Hanania. “We have worked hard to become a market leader and as a team we will also work hard to defend that position. It’s a position we are proud of but everyone in the team understands the responsibility that comes with it.”
