The Windows Middle East Awards 2006 website has gone live, giving readers of the region's best-selling monthly computer magazine the opportunity to vote for the very best products and IT companies in the Middle East, as well as the opportunity to win thousands of dollars' worth of hardware prizes. The site, which is here, features an overview of the contest itself, magazine details, and of course a link to the Reader Voting page. Readers can have their say in eight award categories, ranging from Best PC Game to Best Photo Printer and Best Customer Support. Visitors simply need log in to itp.net and spend five minutes answering eight multiple choice questions, after which they will be automatically entered into Windows' cracking prize draw. The kit that must be won includes: a Sky eXpression Game Station 5000X2+ PC worth US $2000, a Creative Zen Neon 2 MP3 player, HP's Deskjet F380 All-in-One printer and two Jabra Bluetooth phone headsets, with further product prizes also due to be added. That website address once more, is www.itp.net/windowsawards06.
