One-stop-shop regional distribution player Aptec will once again boast a significant presence at this year’s Gitex as the company outlines the numerous benefits it offers resellers across the region. “Gitex is a unique event for Aptec to meet existing and new customers from across the region,” says Ali Baghdadi, president and CEO at Aptec. “It is also an ideal platform to evaluate and formulate business relationships with leading IT manufacturers and suppliers.” Covering the entire Middle East, Turkey, Africa and CIS region, Aptec will showcase a massive product portfolio at Gitex featuring vendors from a range of sectors including networking, software, hardware, PC components, telecoms and services. During its 26 year history Aptec has developed a unique services portfolio to create a super pre and post-sales experience for its customers incorporating internet ordering, online delivery tracking, direct logistics services, online RMA, support desks, service centres and same day delivery in Dubai as well as 24 hour delivery in the UAE. “Aptec has enjoyed steady year-on-year growth since its foundation more than 25 years ago,” adds Baghdadi. “Gitex has supported that growth every step of the way and we expect to enjoy further growth this year.” Aptec is currently talking to its vendor partners about specific promotions and offers for this year’s Gitex but Baghdadi expects there to a be a strong focus on the enterprise segment of the market with Aptec’s value added services and product portfolio taking centre stage. Aptec is confident that it will continue to grow ahead of the overall market rate. “The Middle East is the fastest growing market in the world and the opportunities are obvious,” continues Baghdadi. “We will see strong growth in the coming years and feel very well prepared.” Aptec has big plans for the coming months including the restructuring of the business under a new holding company based out of DIFC. For Baghdadi the mission is simple: to strengthen market share by adding new products and services for Aptec’s valued customers.
