Software giant SAP Arabia describes Gitex as the “most important IT gateway” to potential customers in the Middle East, allowing them to see its technology in action. The enterprise software giant believes that the event provides a valuable arena where it can demonstrate how its technology, applications and solutions are powering businesses here in the Middle East. “SAP’s presence at Gitex 2006 represents our ongoing commitment to the Middle East region and gives us the opportunity to share our business strategy and strengthen the relationship with customers, prospects, and partners in the region,” explains Esam Enany, president at SAP Arabia. “During this event, SAP will be showcasing its innovative solutions that will help support customers and prospects, transform and streamline their business processes as well as outthink, outexecute, and outperform their competitors.” During Gitex itself, the company will offer numerous interactive demonstrations of products such as mySAP customer relationship management (CRM) solutions; developments in Project Duet; and key features of SAP solution sets targeting the specific demands of companies across a diverse number of vertical industries such as oil and gas, retail, automotive, engineering, construction, manufacturing, financial services and also the public sector.
