Kazakhstani insurance provider Centras has implemented a new management solution to help it serve its clients better and integrate its records. Centras chose 3i Infotech’s PREMIA, an integrated insurance management system, which it hopes will help it minimise the operational risks involved with bulk sales of insurance products and allow it to provide real-time information in response to client requests. “Our aim is to become one of Kazakhstan’s leading insurance companies in the next few years and to achieve this we are undertaking a series of initiatives that will help us in enhancing our service delivery levels,” said Talgat Ussenov, chairman of the board, Centras Insurance. “Using a world class solution such as 3i Infotech’s PREMIA, a globally-renowned integrated insurance management system, will help us grow as an efficient national insurance company with products that meet international standards.” The PREMIA insurance management solutions suite is designed to perform all the functions of an insurance company, such as underwriting, policy administration, claims management, reinsurance and accounting. Kalpesh Desai, chief operating officer, 3i Infotech EMEA, said: “As with all out products, PREMIA has been developed with the help of domain experts and it caters to a wide variety of insurance companies including those in the business of life, general insurance, health, Takaful [Islamic insurance] and insurance broking.”
