Jordan Telecom Group names new CEO

Mickael Ghossein has been appointed as Jordan Telecom Group's new CEO and will move from his current position as executive vice president.

Jordan Telecom Group has appointed Mickael Ghossein as its new CEO. Ghossein, a France Telecom veteran who headed Jordanian operator MobileCom until December 2005, moves from his current role as executive vice president of Jordan Telecom Group. According to the company he is charged with taking Jordan Telecom into a “new era by further introducing new products, solutions and converged offerings which will combine the strengths and capabilities of the Group’s member companies: Jordan Telecom, MobileCom, Wanadoo and e-dimension.” According to Ghossein, the group is prepared to move forward in the country’s communications market. “The Jordan Telecom Group, based on its capabilities and the expertise and know-how of its partner France Telecom, is ready to rise to new challenges and create new opportunities for our people and our customers.”
