HP has rolled out a new all-in-one printer, scanner and copier aimed at home and small businesses, which Windows Middle East believes could be the lowest priced such product ever to be launched in this region. The ultra-compact Deskjet F380 All-in-One allows users to make professional-quality photo reprints and enlarge or resize photos at the touch of a button. From a specification standpoint meanwhile, the F380 offers up HP-quoted print speeds of up to 20 pages per minute (ppm) in black and 14ppm in colour. Meanwhile its maximum optical scan resolution is set at 1200 x 2400dpi and its print resolution 4800 x 1200dpi (when used with HP's Premium Plus photo papers). Users can share, save and print photos using HP’s supplied Photosmart Express software, while photos can be edited and further enhanced using Photosmart Essential. Thanks to its fold-up paper tray and ultra-compact design, the F380 can fit almost anywhere, but best of all for cash-strapped firms, its retail price is set at a rock bottom US $88.
