Bahraini telco Batelco has reduced the rates of its ‘Inet Dedicated Access’ business internet packages by up to 40%. “With every change in the cost of bandwidth, Batelco ensures to pass on the benefit of a lower cost to its customers by reviewing the tariffs,” said the telco’s general manager of corporate affairs, Ahmed Al Janahi. Batelco’s Inet Dedicated Access service offers always-on internet access at speeds of up to 100Mbps. The dedicated connection is enabled through a point-to-point data connection using local leased, LAN Connect, or state-of-the art MPLS technologies, allowing companies to connect their whole network to the internet. The service includes a virtual domain and eight IP (Internet Protocol) addresses. With its newly reduced pricing, Batelco claims that customers can double their existing internet bandwidth for roughly the same monthly cost. “Moreover, customers can benefit from further discounts when they sign-up for fixed-term contracts.” Al Janahi added.
