Network change and configuration management specialist Voyence has signed a reseller agreement with Saudi Arabian business service management (BSM) specialist Ejada. The deal creates a powerful new channel-to-market for Voyence in the Kingdom. Mahmoud El-Leissy, CEO at Ejada Systems, commented: “Our customers expect Ejada to provide market leading and capable technologies to meet their wider requirements of change management based around ITIL and ETOM standards. We conducted a market evaluation to choose the product that best meets our customers’ needs.” “Being a leading provider of BSM solutions in the Kingdom, we have a reputation of excellence in delivery with our customers that we must protect. As such, we really looked closely at the vendors in this space before selecting Voyence,” he added. Ejada reviewed various configuration management offerings and selected Voyence’s VoyenceControl NG based on a number of factors. These included the solution’s tight integration capabilities with leading network management platforms such as BMC, CA, EMC, HP and IBM. Ejada also highlighted VoyenceControl NG’s BMC Remedy change manager and trouble ticket approval integration as a factor in its decision. In addition, VoyenceControl NG uses a Java client that easily integrates with fault, performance and inventory management solutions that contain non-standard APIs. “Customers have made significant investments in traditional network management platforms,” said Steve Valle, VP EMEA at Voyence. “They are seeking ways to preserve and expand upon them rather than migrate to completely new solutions for enhanced management.” “Ejada’s selection of Voyence as their management partner, underscores the importance of seamless change and configuration software integration into any customer’s existing network management environment — BMC, CA, EMC, HP or IBM,” he added. Ejada is a significant IT business solutions and services company in the Middle East and North Africa region with more than 375 employees. Headquartered in Riyadh, Ejada also has branches in Jeddah, Al Khobar, Amman, Cairo, Alexandria and Dubai as well as partners in Beirut, Kuwait, Yemen and Oman. Voyence bills itself as a leading provider of configuration and change management solutions that automate critical change, compliance and activation processes. The company claims that its solution allows end-users to manage tens of thousands of devices across a heterogeneous infrastructure. Voyence boasts a highly experienced management team led by Susan Nash. Prior to joining Voyence, Susan served as Vice President of the Systems Integration Group at Perot Systems, a US$1.1 billion Dallas-based information technology services company.
