Netgear names Ashley as Middle East distributor

Networking vendor Netgear has confirmed the appointment of Ashley as an official distribution partner in the UAE and Middle East. Ashley will stock the full range of Netgear kit as the vendor attempts to make inroads into the highly competitive consumer and SMB networking market in the region.

Networking vendor Netgear has confirmed the appointment of Ashley as an official distribution partner in the UAE and Middle East. Ashley will stock the full range of Netgear kit as the vendor attempts to make inroads into the highly competitive consumer and SMB networking market in the region. Ahmed Zeidan, channel sales manager at Netgear Middle East, said: “Our tie-up with a strong, well-established channel partner of the stature of Ashley will enable Netgear products to penetrate the highly competitive market in a short time by taking advantage of its unparalleled distribution network.” “We are confident that Ashley’s commitment to customers’ growth through the provision of high-quality services and customised solutions will positively impact the distribution and sale of Netgear products and extend out leadership and reach in the sophisticated UAE and regional market,” he added. Dubai-based Ashley, which was founded in 1998, is a sister company of Jebel Ali-based Pindal Ltd. With a primary focus on distribution, Ashley represents a number of major vendors including Creative, MSI, Sapphire, Logitech, Belkin and now Netgear. Ahmed Farahani, general manager at Ashley, said: “We are excited about our partnership with Netgear, which is a leading global player in the networking solutions and products segment.
