Trend Micro increases reseller breadth

Security software vendor Trend Micro has claimed that the number of resellers participating in its advantage programme for channel partners has increased 50% since the launch of its ‘Worry Free’ security solutions designed for small and medium businesses.

Security software vendor Trend Micro has claimed that the number of resellers participating in its advantage programme for channel partners has increased 50% since the launch of its ‘Worry Free’ security solutions designed for small and medium businesses (SMBs). “Trend Micro is entirely committed to helping the reseller channel to understand the opportunities provided by our ‘Worry Free’ security solutions to their customers,” said Aldo Rimondo, VP of Trend Micro EMEA marketing. “The value proposition for partners is very strong and consequently a highly motivated channel is helping to maximise returns for all concerned. We would urge partners who have not yet seen the Trend Micro advantage programme to take five minutes to review the benefits.” According to Trend Micro, its ‘Worry Free’ solutions have been specifically designed to fit the requirements of the smaller organisation, providing a solid security package that is easy to manage and maintain. Nicholas Argyrides, general manager at Logicom Dubai, which recently signed up as a Trend Micro distributor, said: “Trend Micro has provided a complete set of go-to-market solutions that helps our resellers to understand how to sell these solutions in the SMB marketplace.” “Now with the right solution, marketing messages and value proposition, we’ve seen a dramatic increase in the numbers of trading resellers and increased frequency of purchases,” Argyrides added. Trend Micro has lined up a number of benefits for partners selling its ‘Worry Free’ solutions including free technical support, free not for resale software to use as a sales tool, a loyalty reward scheme, marketing support and training.
