Emirates Computers bagged two awards at Cisco’s recent regional partner summit in Dubai, taking home prizes for Cisco silver partner of the year and Cisco wireless partner of the year. “Emirates Computers is a perfect example of a company which continuously demonstrated outstanding commitment to promoting Cisco’s solutions,” said Tarek Ghoul, regional channel manager at Cisco. “They surpassed all other Cisco partners in the silver partner and wireless partner category by exceeding volume of sales, reseller breadth and strong technical expertise particularly in the area of advanced technologies.” “Our partners are an extension of our company and we want to recognise and reward the best performers. Emirates Computers has demonstrated the ability to develop innovative solutions and execute with the highest levels of customer satisfaction and hence they were selected for these awards,” added Ghoul. Emirates Computers has been a Cisco partner for more than 13 years. During this period the company has developed solid knowledge of the vendor’s portfolio and implemented Cisco solutions in major government and private sector projects throughout the Gulf region. “We are honoured to be recognised by Cisco for demonstrating technical excellence and delivering customer value,” said Dani Diab, VP and general manager of Emirates Computers Abu Dhabi. “Winning these awards is testament of our company’s performance and commitment to promote Cisco products and solutions in this region.” “These awards are also the result of our employees’ dedication and commitment in providing the best service, support and technical expertise in promoting Cisco solutions. They recognise our initiatives in the networking and wireless domain and places us way ahead of our competitors,” Diab added.
