Software giant Oracle gathered together its regional partners to explain full details of its Fusion applications launch. Held in Cairo, Oracle used the event to discuss the requirements of businesses in the region and educated partners on how to ensure success with customers interested in Oracle applications. “The Oracle partner network is fundamental to Oracle’s success,” said Atef Helmy, managing director at Oracle Egypt. “Our more than 15,000 partners worldwide help create rich solutions for broader markets and bring even greater value to customers through solutions that address business needs.” “Forums such as this regional partner event in Cairo, which attracts hundreds of key players from our partners from the Middle East and Africa region, gives us the opportunity to identify ways to take these applications to the customers,” he said. According to Oracle, the Fusion applications suite will play an important role in the offerings that partners present to customers around the region in the future. During the summit, Oracle engaged with its partners, listening to their perspectives on regional requirements. “As part of a global team, it is critical for us to ensure that we are communicating international development to our channel partners,” said Husam Dajani, VP Oracle Middle East and Africa. “This event provided a forum for our partners, ensuring that the voice of the Middle East is firmly taken into account in this crucial development stage of Oracle’s evolution of its applications.”
