Lowe Dubai is winding down its operations in preparation for the transfer of the Lowe name to the Middle East Communication Networks on Saturday.

Lowe Dubai is winding down its operations in preparation for the transfer of the Lowe name to the Middle East Communication Networks on Saturday. The agency that managed the Lowe franchise, will now be known as Brandcom. The agency has held onto all of its existing staff, and only two retained clients will move over to MCN. Nirmal Diwadkar, chief operating officer for Lowe in the Middle East, said: “There’s a real sense of excitement for starting something new. It has been a long association, and there will be nostalgia and good memories, but we have won a lot of accolades and got a lot out of it. “Many of us have built our careers here and I feel grateful and thankful for what we’ve been able to do,” he added. Lowe Worldwide owner, the Interpublic Group which has a stake in MCN, decided to move the business into its stable earlier this year. The handover of Lowe’s aligned clients, Johnson & Johnson and Unilever, is underway and should be completed by Thursday. Brandcom’s retained clients will include Emirates Sky Cargo and Nayomi.
