Wamad Consulting will be showcasing a wide range of products and solutions at this year’s Gitex trade show in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The company, which provides consulting services to all industry sectors and also resells software from a range of international vendors, will highlight key solutions such as Empirum PRO, a PC lifecycle management and ITIL tool from Matri42, Elsag core banking suite, which is a conventional Islamic banking product. The Ariss business process management suite will also be on display at the show. Phillip Muriuki, head of the banking services division at Wamad Consulting, says the tradeshow will help his organisation secure potential new clients. “Gitex is very important to Wamad as it is the single point where we can reach out to a high concentration of potential new clients in such a short time,” he says. “We hope to achieve enhanced sales as a result of new business leads established during the Gitex event in 2006,” Muriuki adds. Muriuki says the Saudi Arabian market is the biggest economy in the Middle East and presents a huge potential for any serious business. “The Saudi Arabian market has the potential to double the growth rate of any business and events like Gitex provide a platform for companies big and small to be visible in the market, expand their market base and develop their local capacity,” Muriuki adds.
