Empost has launched a brand new service allowing customers to collect and dispatch packages without visiting the post office. Companies using the EziMail service can send or receive mail straight from their office using a courier. The service also includes mail posting, which involves the collection of mails for delivery to the post office together with the option to purchase postage stamps. “EziMail is another customised service that helps to simplify the day-to-day business processes of public and private sector companies having to deal with large numbers of international and local correspondence, both incoming and outgoing,” said Sultan Al Midfa, chief executive officer, Empost. Empost is tackling any potential security concerns by placing the mail in a sealed sachet before it is delivered directly to the customer. The company also states that customers using the daily delivery and collection services will receive their mail within 24 hours of its arrival in the UAE. “The introduction of EziMail marks a significant achievement in Empost’s efforts to offer diversified services to customers,” continued Al Midfa. “Empost has built its reputation on the strength of its understanding of customer needs, and we are resolved to further build on our success by setting new standards in customer service.” The new EziMail service follows recent announcements by Empost regarding moves to expand the company’s client base in the private sector. The courier company has signed a number of new clients this year, including the UAE-based IT solutions provider Emirates Technologies and money transfer company Wall Street Exchange Centre. “Organisations in both the public and private sector today realise the importance of delivering relevant products and documents directly to the customer, in a fast and efficient manner,” added Al Midfa. “Empost has already formed strategic partnerships with several government departments. We have now extended this approach to cover private sector organisations as well, and the growing number of private sector companies who have chosen Empost as their exclusive courier service provider is a testimony to the reputation we have built over the years.”
