Printing vendor Xerox has launched its Momentum 2006 channel and partner engagement programme in the Middle East. The scheme, which will be open to Xerox partners in Saudi Arabia, UAE, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Lebanon and Malta, will be rolled out during the course of the year. According to Xerox, the Momentum programme is designed to provide partners with the necessary tools and product knowledge to accelerate office product sales. Regional partners will have the opportunity to attend two-day training sessions that inform them of the key differentiators of Xerox solutions. “Today the challenge for Xerox is in engaging companies’ IT departments, to fully understand that our office solutions are no longer standalone entities, but are part of an overall IT solution,” said Ayman Mattar, regional marketing manager at Xerox Middle East. “Momentum is designed to arm our partners with the information and tools that can clearly differentiate Xerox solutions to existing and potential customers. In turn our partners will be able to communicate more effectively and easily, the benefits of smarter document management solutions from Xerox, to businesses in the region,” added Mattar. “We have performed well and achieved considerable growth year-on-year, and we feel that it is important to keep the momentum going, by staying close to our industry and our market and sharing this knowledge with our partners,” Mattar concluded. Xerox has worked hard to expand its partner network in the region and has invested resources in training and support for its channel network. The vendor offers a wide range of multifunction printers as well as standalone mono and colour printers.
