Crabtree & Evelyn’s La Source product range will be available in all Hilton hotels around the world, including those in the Middle East, from April. The range is unique to Hilton and includes La Source moisturising soap, shampoo and conditioner, as well as relaxing body wash, body lotion and bath salts. The range also includes a Hilton branded sewing kit, cotton shoe mitt, shoe horn, slippers, laundry bag and shower caps. In-room toiletries are an extremely important part of the guest experience, according to Hilton. Research carried out by the company has shown that 92% of Hilton guests use the in-room toiletries. “We are constantly seeking new ways to enhance our guest experience and this will improve consistency and product quality across our global portfolio,” said Mike Ashton, senior vice president of marketing, Hilton International. Aston added that the La Source range was selected for its upmarket product selection. “We have selected the La Source range because it offers contemporary, fresh, upmarket products associated with health and fitness, travel and aspirational lifestyles. It is a great fit with the Hilton brand and our guest profile. We are looking forward to pampering our guests with the new range and to help them put back a little of what life takes out.” he said. Mike Torrence, managing director of Crabtree & Evelyn UK is certain the products will appeal to Hilton guests. “This partnership between Crabtree & Evelyn and Hilton introduces our La Source product range to a discerning audience who expect the best. I am confident they will enjoy the La Source experience,” he said. Hilton hotels in the Middle East are already rolling out the new line, with the Hilton Dubai Jumeirah now offering Crabtree & Evelyn in all its standard rooms. “We started on a trial basis on our standard floor and implemented the new amenities floor by floor until it was all consumed. The executive floor amenities will be coming in a couple of weeks time, ready for April 1, which will be the official launch,” said Feryal Haddon, executive housekeeper, Hilton Dubai Jumeirah. “Crabtree & Evelyn is a well recognised brand and it is nice to have a recognised brand in the property, especially as a lot of our European guests are familiar with Crabtree & Evelyn,” she added. The Hilton Dubai Creek is also phasing in the new range. "It is a big challenge to get this brand shipped in from the UK. It is a big job.,” admitted Asif Khatri, assistant executive housekeeper, Hilton Dubai Creek. “At the moment, we are not ordering much for our current amenities. We have reduced the quantity and are just ordering what we need on a weekly basis, as we know this new line is coming.” Crabtree & Evelyn has been recognised as an exceptional brand and now enjoys Superbrand status in the UK, Malaysia, Singapore and Hong Kong. The company’s bathroom, bedroom, kitchen and garden products are sold in over 40 countries and have over 350 stores worldwide.
