Seating a maximum of 18 diners on a long grand oak table, the JW Marriott Hotel Dubai’s new Chefs Room is a different kind of dining experience. Located in the main kitchen, guests can enjoy their dinner while watching chefs prepare each course. The Chef’s Room opened late last year and during the festive season guests rented the space for private parties. Now, the JW Marriott is hoping the venue will become popular for both intimate gatherings and business functions. “We are excited to introduce products and services with a difference at the JW Marriott Hotel Dubai,” said Gerrit Graef, director of operations at the hotel. “This is part of the hotel’s mission to create an experience beyond today’s hospitality.” Guests can choose from a varied menu offering international cuisines including Arabic, European and Asian. Special menus can also be tailor-made to suite any function and the hotel’s banqueting team will decorate the space to create themed events for guests. Fitted with entertainment systems and a plasma television screen, the Chef’s Room can be used for corporate product launches or family movie screenings. Chefs and waiters are assigned to serve food hot from the oven for diners.
