Regional distributor Asbis plans to extend the range of Prestigio monitors it carries in the Middle East and Africa. New 17” and 19” business class LCD multimedia monitors will be available by the end of February. “Savvy business customers looking to benefit from cutting-edge LCD technology not only want superior performance, reliability and affordable price but also high style appearance that is inherent to all Prestigio products out there in the market,” said Martin Zeman, Prestigio’s sales and marketing director for Central and Eastern Europe. “Prestigio closely follows latest industry trends transforming them into new displays which integrate the most advanced LCD technologies into ergonomic and eye-catching design that creates a trendy ambience in and office,” Zeman added. Prestigio, which produces a range of LCD monitors, LCD TVs and notebooks, has expanded significantly since its merger with the Canyon Technology Group in 2003. The company operates across EMEA and holds a strong market position in Central and Eastern Europe. In total, Prestigio LCD monitors and notebooks are now sold in 25 countries around the world. The company currently has two representative offices in Prague and Moscow. Prestigio’s latest monitors feature speakers and controls built into the stand. The 17” Prestigio P575 and 19” P595 monitors offer a response time of 8ms, high contrast ratio and wide viewing angle. The products also come with a three-year international warranty.
