Billing solutions provider Highdeal has teamed up with e-dimension, Jordan’s leading IT services company, to deploy a solution that supports the rollout of Jordan Telecom’s Livebox Double Play communications service, which combines internet access and IP telephony. Jordan Telecom’s double play service is delivered over ADSL and next generation IP-based networks. The service includes a range of features such as unlimited on-net calls, and competitive pricing for off-net local, national, fixed-to-mobile and international calls. Supplementary services such as e-billing and web-based customer care and helplines also form part of the service. “Livebox voice over internet protocol services consolidates Jordan Telecom's regional leadership in consumer services,” commented Luc Savage, chief strategy officer at Jordan Telecom. “The move to VoIP was made possible by key advances in convergent technology and the recent introduction of new regulatory and licensing earlier this year. In the second phase of deployment, users will also benefit from video connectivity. Livebox also promises to underpin new, globally competitive service rates for business and residential users alike.” By combining Highdeal Transactive with Netcentrex MyCall Residential Communications Solution, the companies involved claim to have created a system that offers easy configuration management and service provisioning as well as a flexible add-on rating engine with open APIs, enabling innovative price offerings and ensuring seamless integration with existing systems. “We are proud to be part of this partnership with e-dimension, which reinforces the strength of Highdeal in the Middle East. This deal confirms our expertise in projects involving next generation telephony services. Highdeal’s extensive expertise and experience enables service providers to rapidly develop and deploy new services and increase their revenues. We anticipate further joint customers and success with e-dimension,” said Eric Pillevesse, CEO at Highdeal. Systems integrator e-dimension works with a number of major vendor partners including Cisco, HP and Microsoft and has a proven track record in various vertical markets including banking, aviation and telecommunications. With Jordan Telecom putting in place an aggressive timeline for the project, e-dimension chose a solution that could be deployed quickly. “Three months: this was the time constraints we had for the whole integration project,” explained Tamouh Khauli, CEO at e-dimension. “So obviously an important prerequisite for choosing Highdeal was its ability to integrate with the residential communication solution from Netcentrex. Due to their open architectures, Highdeal Transactive and the Netcentrex softswitch were seamlessly pre-integrated. This ease of integration was the key in our final decision.”
