Vendor giant HP has recruited Bruce Dahlgren as senior VP of imaging and printing group (IPG) worldwide enterprise sales. Dahlgren formerly served as VP and general manager of North America printing solutions and services division at Lexmark. In his new role, Dahlgren will focus on developing imaging and printing opportunities in large enterprises and will also drive IPG’s large account go-to-market strategy, attempting to deliver complete printing solutions to HP’s top 1,500 accounts globally. Dahlgren will report into Vyomesh Joshi, executive VP of HP’s IPG division. HP hopes that the appointment of Dahlgren, and the creation of the position that he will hold, will bring greater focus to the imaging and printing opportunities that exist in large enterprises. “Bruce has a deep understanding of vertical industries and a wealth of experience delivering printing solutions specifically tailored to meet the needs of enterprise customers,” commented Joshi. “His expertise driving solution-oriented sales combined with the world’s most extensive portfolio of printing solutions will help IPG achieve its goals moving forward.” During his six years at Lexmark, Dahlgren was leading the vendor’s most profitable business unit. Prior to his stint at Lexmark, Dahlgren spent 15 years with NCR, AT&T and Teradata.
