Enterprise content management solutions vendor FileNet has announced a series of partnerships with management consultancy firms specialising in best practices and deliverables in records management and related compliance services. FileNet reckons that its new partnerships with Access sciences, Imerge Consulting, Millican & associates and Robbins-Gioia, will help customers address their compliance requirements through the combination of cutting-edge consultancy services and technology solutions. The new partners join an established list of FileNet ValueNet partners such as Accenture, Bwise, Xerox Global Services, BearingPoint and Fujitsu Consulting. All these partners are engaged in the delivery of compliance and enterprise risk management solutions alongside FileNet. “Meeting today’s compliance and records management requirements is a two-pronged problem that is solved by first creating compliant policies and processes, and then having the right technology infrastructure and applications in place to support and enforce them,” said Martyn Christian, chief marketing officer at FileNet. “We are working with our partners to offer a total solution for not only compliance, but for improved business performance. We encourage customers to look at compliance as an opportunity to modify their infrastructure to more efficiently run their business. Efficient records management programs and processes, combined with the technology to support them, can make a tremendous impact on how organisations can improve the bottom line and stay compliant,” he added. As well as assisting in the management of corporate records, FileNet also reckons that deploying enterprise content management solutions can also help firms develop policies that maximise the benefits of their technology investment. FileNet claims that its ECM platform, FileNet P8, and its records manager suite have now been adopted by a number of Fortune 1000 companies as a solution for compliance management.
