Global software vendor SAP has renewed its multi-year sponsorship deal with South African golfer Ernie Els. SAP Arabia, established in 1994, claimed it has enjoyed huge success deploying its software solutions in 19 countries throughout the region. SAP claimed The Big Easy, a record three-times winner of the Dubai Desert Classic, is the perfect choice. “Ernie Els and SAP are a natural fit — we are very excited to continue having him serve as an SAP ambassador,” said Marty Homlish, executive vice president and global chief marketing officer, SAP. “Ernie personifies the same winning attributes that make SAP the global leader in business software solutions—things like passion, pursuit of excellence, and determination,” he added. Els will sport the SAP logo on his headgear and golf apparel at all tournament outings.
