Investcom signs up for new billing and customer care solutions as a commitment to its clients in the EMEA region.

Investcom, which manages a GSM network in Cyprus, Syria, Yemen, Benin, Liberia, Sudan, Guinea Bissau, Afghanistan and Ghana, has signed a deal with International Turnkey Systems (ITS), a technology solutions provider for banking, communications and higher education sectors in the Middle East. Under the agreement, ITS will deliver end-to-end solutions in billing and customer care solutions for Investcom, covering its operations in the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region. “The agreement (…) is part of our commitment and future plans in providing the highest level of service within our operations,” explains Jamal Ramadan, CEO of Investcom. “Our main concern is to provide added value services in a better way thus keeping a distinguished and long term relationship with them across all the countries of operations.” At the end of the third quarter of 2005, Investcom celebrated reaching four million subscribers in the countries of operations distributed in Europe, Middle East and Africa. Ramadan says it is Investcom’s strategy to widen its services in potential markets where high growth is expected. He adds that Investcom will also look to link the new technologies with the customer care in further upcoming projects. Khaled Al-Saeid, managing director and general manager of ITS, clarifies that the agreement covers the provision of the latest technology solutions in billing and customer care, with the aim of improving customers communications for Investcom. Using the ITS solution, Investcom intends to unify its invoicing system in all countries in which it operate thus raising the volume of cash returns, while at the same time maintaining top of the line customer care standards and procedures.
