Tally Solutions gets set for its next wave of reseller recruitment as the accountancy software vendor outlines its channel development strategy for Oman, Bahrain and Qatar. Tally has no plans to rest on its laurels after its successful channel recruitment exercise in the UAE, which saw the fast-growing Indian accountancy software vendor recruit 400-plus resellers. The next phase of Tally’s ambitious Middle East channel development strategy will kick off in early December as the vendor attempts to emulate its UAE success story in Oman, Bahrain and Qatar. “We have already spoken to partners in these countries that have been selling Tally on an opportunistic basis,” explained Deepak D. Prakash, regional manager at Tally. “These partners will now start proactively selling Tally to resellers and will play a pivotal role in helping us reach out to the wider reseller community.” “We have already carried out extensive research in these markets and identified that there are 150 resellers in Bahrain, 140 in Oman and 120 in Qatar selling IT solutions,” he added. “Once again we will look for 100% engagement with these local channel partners.” Tally is backing up its channel push with a range of reseller promotions, offering rewards for business owners and individual sales staff based on the amount of Tally business that they transact. Tally is also looking long-term to extend its product range and the vendor has already started to move into the ERP space in India.
