Epicor Scala has overhauled is business strategy in the region to work more closely with the channel. The ERP solution provider reinforced this point through its appointment of Conjoint Development Group as its representative in Kuwait. “We are in the process of streamlining our channel strategy and are on the lookout for new channel partners to expand our geographical footprint. The need to reinforce the channel presence is an imperative for Epicor Scala as our business expands,” said Basil Daniells, channel manager at Epicor Scala Middle East and Africa. Conjoint Development Group will provide a full range of Epicor Scala’s ERP systems, complementary software and hardware products and consulting and integration services. “I’m excited about this challenging opportunity. I believe we have the right ingredients to create a market leader and I look forward to working with our high-caliber team at Epicor Scala to achieve our ambitious goals,” said Deepak Ipe David, business development manager at Conjoint Development Group. Epicor Scala also recently announced the appointment of Amwaj IT in Saudi Arabia as a regional channel partner. Daniells commented that according to a survey carried out by research house AC Nielson, on behalf of Epicor, almost three quarters of companies in Saudi Arabia are looking to deploy or upgrade their ERP solutions.
